As from 2009 to 2014, Prof. Belke has again been appointed as a member of the Monetary Expert Panelfor the legislative period of the European Parliament 2020 to 2024 - this time under the framework contract with the project leader CASE (Center for Social and Economic Research, Warsaw). In this position, he will give independent expert advice to the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs of the European Parliament (ECON) in the field of monetary and economic affairs, mainly in the framework of the Monetary Dialogue of the European Parliament with the European Central Bank (ECB).
